My training is as an Ontological Coach, and Ontology refers to the study of “the meaning of being”. This is a holistic approach to coaching that includes the wisdom of emotions/moods and somatics (body) in addition to the language (conversations with ourselves and others) that can bring about lasting change. I am especially skilled in listening to the meaning behind the words.

Equine-Facilitated Learning and Coaching

Equine-facilitated learning brings the power of connecting with horses surrounded by nature. This engagement is available to all, different abilities and ages, no horse experience needed, and non-riding. When we slow down to engage, our own quiet wisdom can emerge. Horses are wise beings and natural healers.

Life-Cycle Celebrant

I craft and perform completely customized ceremonies that honor the client's wishes. I weave together stories, prose, music, symbolism, rituals, and attendee’s participation into a memorable event. The experience supports any spiritual, secular, or faith-based belief, and is culturally sensitive and inclusive to people from different walks of life.

Space Mission Systems Engineer

For 25 years, I worked with scientists, engineers, NASA and commercial customers in mission planning for scientific applications of unmanned spacecraft in deep space and earth orbits. My roles included initial proposals, requirements development, operations concepts, design, test, on-orbit operations, mission operations, and program management. I was privileged to be part of the Voyager Interstellar Missions to Uranus and Neptune, the latter for which I received NASA’s Exception Service Medal.
